Just realized how long it's been since updating, Almost been a whole year..
I now have a daughter who is about one and a half, and she has been keeping my wife and I pretty busy. We've moved to another city and I have finally got around to setting up my art room.
Was playing around in manga studio (clip studio) yesterday and came up with this sketch. Nothing fancy, just my first sketch in months.

Back to posting
So, I haven't posted for a while due to being busy, and, ah holding a controller instead of a pencil
for a bit :-). But I have managed to get a few pictures, done including the pencils for a five page comic I've wanted to do for a while.
Seeing and Believing.
A young man rushes through a dark forest while being closely pursued by the town's local authorities. After making his way further into the trees he trips and falls landing face to face with something you could only see to believe.
The pencil artwork can be found here on my portfolio site.
It does seem to be a bad habit of mine to ignore the internet completely when I have a lot to draw. Something I DO need to change if I am to uphold an art blog of some sort.
Here are some profile pictures I drew up for a website I'm working on:

Clown
This is another re-design of a public domain character named Clown.
Whenever I think clown and comic character, I always think Joker so I tried pretty hard to avoid any similarity and followed a WW2 past based on the original but vague history.

Below is a speed painting done to help get an idea for the
character. Pretty rough, but took about two hours to complete.

Ninja Assassin
This guy is one of my original characters (design still a work in progress). I actually wanted to use this as a background for my portfolio site, but decided against it.
The pencils above were done using reference from a quick speed paint I did a while ago:

Digital painting
I have been working of my digital painting/ concept art lately. I was happy with this one and the time taken to finish it. This is of course a fan art image of Captain Marvel done for a non official friendly contest online.
I think it's been over two years since I stopped drawing super heroes and wanted to re-learn some basics while putting more study into the human form. Now I'm sort of lost in putting my own style together, and still getting used to digital painting.
This one is a concept piece for a personal project. I'm still fighting with myself and whether to add digital textures to my work or not. I always end up drawing it by hand, which sometimes seems pointless digitally.
Cyborg Woman
Trying to get back into the swing of things after Christmas, and came up with a quick sketch this morning. Not sure who, or what she is but I might use her in one of my stories I am working on.
